"Republicans are stupid" FCPS teacher tells her 6th graders

This is too much around here, first the guy who did the "Republican party faults" assignment and now this, I'm sure there's more of the same.
This should NOT be allowed to happen, regardless of the agenda being pushed, left, right, anything!! What is wrong with people??

It's not right. Just like when I was in 11th grade and my teacher had whole chapters on 'Why Kennedy was our worst President' and 'Why Reagan was our best president' with ridiculously biased material that we were then tested on. Teachers' political opinions have no place in the classroom. At least she said 'I think' in the quote.

The teacher doesn't have an argument. She is attempting to push her ideas on a roomful of children, and indoctrinate them.

This is against the school's rules, "District Regulation 4426.2 says: Employees shall not poll their pupils to determine their political beliefs or how their parents are voting on any issue and shall not attempt to indoctrinate pupils with personal political and social philosophy."

Except, from what we've seen lately, Republicans truly are stupid. I'm not sure this is a controversial or even an offensive statement.

I think it's more likely a case of a single family bellyaching. Powell feeds into Liberty. This suggests the dad in the first story and the mom in the second are married, and the "students" in each are siblings. Which makes sense.
