| We turned down an acceptance offer for pre-K at GDS (thought it was a great school but too far from us). DC will be going to another "Big 3" school that is closer to home. |

I'm not the PP, but what she/he said is accurate. GDS is mediocre athletics. How can you refute that? And in terms of a balance between academics and athletics, few can rivals NCS and STA. |

| It depends on what other school you're considering and what your child is like. Everyone I know at GDS loves it. It's a very well-respected school. Motivated students can get a great education there, but kids who need direction and structure might be better off elsewhere. |
