In 2015, Tucker Carlson said he does not believe adult women who have sex with underage boys should be considered rapists. How is that not defending pedophilia?

His response was perfect.

If he apologized, he would just look weak to his fans and his enemies aren’t going to accept it anyway.

This is exactly how celebrities should handle this sort of thing in the future.

Lots of people on Twitter are offering to come on his show.

It is misogyny at best.
This is why the Republican Party - And Tucker’s viewers— are majority old, uneducated white men.

Anyone who can write a post with good grammar here defending Tucker isn’t part of that denographic- they’re an anti-American propagandist instead.

The founders are tuning in their graves at the corruption and lies that soak today’s consrvatives.

I still think we can save the country if patriots — Democrats — win both houses and the presidency in 2020. But I have been shocked at just how low the GOP has been willing to go. It’s going to be close, this saving America business. Let’s all pray there is no nuclear war or idiotic rightwing gun-nut massacre before then.

Tucker Carlson has nearly double the number of viewers in this time slot than CNN or MSNBC. He will be just fine.
He is discerning in his selection of guests. He doesn't mind conflict at all. He routinely has people with opposing viewpoints on. You would know that if you watch his show.
He doesn't like a$$holes. That is what this guy was.

Yes, Fox (since 1996) and Limbaugh (since 1997) have built a large flock of brainwashed sheep that believe their lies.
A very large demographic slice of Tucker Carlson's viewers are nursing homes which leave Fox on all the time. That's why they advertise for catheters on Fox and not on other stations.

Also, Tucker Carlson does not have on opposing viewpoints; he airs fake liberal fools, which is why he cut the Rutger Bregman segment.
Much of the country is laughing at Carlson - that Bregman video got millions of views.

Tucker Carlson is a dumb person's idea of what a smart person sounds like.
Anyone who respects Carlson's show is someone I feel genuinely sorry for - maybe you'll learn about how the world works someday - or maybe not.

I feel sorry for you. Genuinely. Just kidding.

And yet advertisers will pay over three times as much to advertise on Tucker’s show versus Rachel Maddow’s show. It is also well known in liberal circles that it is a mistake to be a guest on Tucker’s show because you’ll get owned and humiliated with the absurdity of your political positions. Prominent liberals now refuse to appear on the show because they’re scared of him; so they are reduced to calling him names, which is sort of pathetic. Nobody will engage him on the issues. The pulled segment featured a loser who was shallow and rude.

So you see, when you do not defend Tucker’s words but you attack people for noting that these are the words of an a$$hole and a pedophile (tonsay nothing of his other jerk statements), you sound like you’re defending his sentiments. It’s really sad how many Republicans on here think statutory rape is just dandy, that women are stupid. My statement stands - the GOP is indeed populated by pedophiles.

Here is what you don't get.........Nobody here has defended his words. They were stated over a decade ago. Media Matters didn't drag out this audio because THEY were outraged. They dragged it out to foment OUTRAGE. They want so badly to get him fired they are doing whatever they can to decrease his viewership and boycott the sponsors of his show.
Sorry, liberals. We've seen this rodeo before. We're not riding in it.

And, your statement is so hyperbolic we are ignoring it.
