Where’s the double standard exactly? Carlson spent a segment on his last show criticizing Joe Biden for comments he made in 1975. Calrson’s comments from a few years ago can’t be discussed?

When Tucker runs for office we can have the discussion about the false equavilance as above. In the meantime crickets on the left criticism of the congressional resolution not calling out a member, like last month.

He wasn't criticizing Biden or his comments. He was talking about how harshly his comments will be judged in the current climate of the Democratic party.

DP... yes, because only Dems seem to care about how young girls are taken advantage of by sick old men. Rs don't seem to think it's a big deal.

Joy Reid said far worse on the record and lied about being hacked. Nothing happened to her.

What did she write that was worse than condoning child rape?

Who is Joy Reid? If she eats feces, should Tucker Carlson do that as well?

The point was that the left - specifically, Media Matters - didn't condemn her or even boycott her. Not a problem, because she's a liberal.

Remember when Samantha Bee called Ivanka a c—- and Ticky Tucky Carlson said he never used such a word? He called for Bee’s head and all his dullard supporters agreed. Now we find out this terrible excuse for a human uses that word about ALL WOMEN and you have sad diversions. He supports Warren Jeffs. He doesn’t think statutory rape is a big deal.

What’s wrong with the GOP? Greasy Old Pedophiles.

I wonder how Carlson's wife feels about the fact that he thinks she's primitive and just needs to be told what to do.

Or that he likes sexual play among young girls.

Then again, maybe anything goes as long as that Fox paycheck keeps coming.

I can’t imagine finding out that my spouse thinks statutory rape is NBD and allowing my minor children to stay in the home with him. My god.

BTW here’s Carlson’s response. Pretty funny considering the original topic of this thread - that he planned to have someone for a debate on his show but got owned and didn’t want to air it.

1. He didn't want to air it because the guy was an A$$hole.
2. This is an appropriate response. Media Matters didn't dig up the story because they were appalled at what he said. They dug it up (and likely spent hours, if not days doing it) because they don't like the fact that a conservative routinely has the highest cable viewership in this hour of primetime. As David French said, the were "vengefully glleeful" to find them.

Carlson’s a coward.

More likely they did it to show his hypocrisy.

A substance in which the GOP swims.
