Doctor indicted in overdose death of founding 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts
An Alabama doctor has been indicted in the August overdose death of original 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts, who helped found the "Kryptonite" band in 1996. Dr. Richard Snellgrove was charged in October with prescribing opioid drugs illegally to Roberts, according to a federal indictment unsealed last week and obtained by the Associated Press.
Now TMZ repots that law enforcement in West Bend, Wisconsin, have fingered Alabama-based physician Dr. Richard Snellgrove as the suspected source of those drugs, indicting him for illegal drug distribution. Snellgrove reportedly prescribed five different controlled substances to different names, all intended for Roberts, prosecutors allege.
