That maybe but not by % of kids. Not even in DMV area. Looks like RMIB magnet is 1, Blair is 2 (assuming some of the 41 kids are CAP students) and TJ at 3.

TJ is number 1 with 36.2%
Blair science is number 2 with 31%
RM IB number is unknown.

Can't you read? Blair is 41 but someone said most are math and science but not all, RMIB is 41 all magnet. tj is at 32 %.

Both MCPS and FCPS students have a lot to be proud of with these numbers. I am shocked by how few students coming out of all these private schools. For example, GDS with 40k per year tuition per child and only 2 kids are NMSF.

41/100 = 41% at Blair
41/100 = 41% at RMIB

To me, that's the most impressive number! Almost 10% higher than so called #1 school in the country.

TJ 164 NMSF winners/453 number of senior class = 36.2%
Blair Science Magnet 31/100 = 31%
No one has said ALL 41 are from RM IB program only.

Is it any wonder our kids are stressed out and messed up when you see how childish their parent's behave?

You really can't read... How sad.

I said 41 are all IB kids. My kid is one of them and DC confirmed it. Your Blair number is STILL wrong. What is wrong with you?

Exactly how did you determine to take 10 kids off? If you are making up numbers out of air that is crazy.

How do you keep coming up with 32% for TJ? Can't you read?

Congrats to your child at RM !!! The number one school ahead of TJ!!!

Question - why did TJ drop from 500 kids to 453? Did 47 kids return to their home school?

What is your basis?

TJ's class is never 500. Typical entering class is approximately 480. Some kids decide to move back to base schools or move out of the area etc. so the class size is about 430 to 450 by junior or senior year.

Back to home school. Even if they stayed these kids wouldn't make the cut. Almost 10% drop out rate is incredibly high IMHO.
