This takes the cake. I'm assuming you're not a troll.

Along the same lines, I went to college with a Ladye Rachel.

Did you call her by her full name or just Rachel?

And although the first name is pretentious I kind of like it. But what I REALLY hate is that after each FB post they hashtag #hollinsolivia. #hollinsolivia this and #hollinsolivea that. Maybe it bugs me because this woman always tries to portray the perfect life. Sets up vignettes on her birthday of a Tiffany bag, perfect dinner and a glass of champagne. Took going home from the hospital pictures of her in a dress, heals, large costume jewelry and full hair and makeup. So this tied together with all of the other pretentious crap really rubs me the wrong way. If I see it one more time I'm going to scream.

I have a friend doing #firstnamemiddlenamelastname on FB with every picture. Thought it would stop, but the kid is 2 months old and they still do it for every single one. The name also appears in this thread.

LOL about Rosebud! She was the cow you milked at the dairy where we went for school trips. You even got a pin that said "I milked Rosebud!"

Also Wm Randolph Hearst's nickname for his mistress' clitoris in Citizen Kain.

Just Rachel, at her request. It always reminded me of that Mr. Rogers puppet Lady Elaine.

I like Lavinia. And if people can be named Luz (which they can be, and are), why not Lux?

I would venture to say Luz is a dud. Lux is worse - sounds like trying to name your kid "Gourmet" or "Designer".

didn't someone on this board just use this name? It's not my favorite virtue name, BUT I love that she went with something a little different and stuck to her guns even when everyone was telling her they hated it. Rock on, Prue's mommy!

Not the PP, but there was a case in the news a while back about a teen named Sir Young who raped a younger classmate inside the school, but was let off with a slap on the wrist and there was an uproar about the light sentence (no sentence actually, just probation)
