He told us private donors were paying for the escalating cost of his ballroom. Now the story is he plans to shakedown the American taxpayer for a $230 mn settlement that he'll donate to the White House ballroom????

The most expensive historic renovation was under Truman. That 4 year project that gutted the building because it was structurally unsound cost $5.7 mn in 1948. Today it would be $69 million. But now taxpayers are on the hook for a $300 million ballroom. So much for private donations will pay for it. Maybe Mexico will build the ballroom

He also admitted that he is using military labor, so that's a taxpayer cost too.

Trump has completely demolished the East Wing, is using the military for the effort, and there is zero transparency beyond a $22 million youtube "donation" about how much will be raised to build a $300 million ballroom. Are these other parties even going to donate now? Is Mexico going to build it?

I thought cutting all the waste fraud and abuse was going to cut debt and deficits?
