Look, I'm thankful for essential workers but they have to deal with this very rarely anymore. And with all due respect - that's part of the gig. And that includes my mother, lots of aunts/cousins. I'm not going to not be excited for a day or two off just b/c someone else has to work. Grow up. |
Folks, we hardly cancel for weather anymore. Just pipe down and enjoy it if you can. If you can't you have plenty of time to make plans for childcare. I've btdt (had a toddler during Snowmageddon and a tween during COVID at home learning. So I get it.) Sh-- happens. |
