If she really likes W&M, I’d go the January start. Otherwise, maybe Gettysburg.

Math major, likely double major with a social science
Values the scholarship and learning above all. Wants to be among smart people really interested in learning. Doesn’t care about frats or social atmosphere, doesn’t care about sports. Wants a diverse campus.

Based purely on that description, Case Western

Agree, Case

OOS for all. Law, social justice, poli sci orientation.

Money is a factor but doesn’t have to be the only factor.

We’re struggling with this so any insight is useful!

UNC FULL RIDE for sure, especially if grad school is in their future.

Is your kid a Morehead Cain scholar at UNC? If so, congrats!

East coast kid who is a jock and likes to party but also intellectually curious and creative. Will not play ball in college. Interested in economics/business and journalism. Have at it.

Wisconsin or Kenyon, depends of big/small preference

Definitely not Cornell.
It's semi impossible to compare Cambridge and Princeton.
Do they know what they want to study? Cambridge for 3 will be cheaper than Princeton for 4.

Wow tough. Going with the Ivy.

Where does kid want to be? East coast — Cornell. West coast — Cal. Texas/West coast combo: Rice or UT — doesn’t matter. Austin is a boom town. If you think employers in that new Silicon Valley prefer any of these schools over UT or Rice, you don’t know Texas.
