It looks like a fringed tassel, not like a heel. It is attached with silver metal. Doesn’t look strange at all to me.

You’ve got Charlotte’s sleeve, Charlotte’s skirt, Kate’s hand, Kate’s textured sleeve cuff for this zippered jacket, and the wooden bit of the handle of the chair inside the circled area. No obvious photoshopping. I have no idea why people are so invested in crying “fake”! Because of the media, I agree they should have said a little bit more about the nature of the illness, because they should know by now no one would let it go.

I find it difficult to believe that William would ask his kids to pretend that nothing was amiss if Kate were in deep trouble with her health.

I'm looking at the intersection of Charlotte's hand, sleeve, and skirt. That's the specific spot that looks funky to me.

It's not an optical illusion. It looks like the sleeve was bigger and they tried to edited it down. You can zoom in and see the remnants of where the sleeve was supposed to be.
