I'm so upset at how wrong I was at judging Jackie. I feel like the producers didn't give us a full recap of the pods. A PP noted that the pod episodes felt short and they were right. In the first seasons we were able to see much more of the pod connections and failures. This time we barely learned anything about people who didn't get engaged and learned almost nothing of someone like Josh who then later becomes a major character. I would have loved to see more of his dates with Jackie and other women. And also more of Jackie's dates in general. This side of her character just seemed to have come out of nowhere.

Yes, I think we're just a little worried he seems too good to be true! Such a wise and thoughtful man, incredibly rare on these kinds of shows.

I don't like Jackie at all but I must say I wouldn't be attracted to Marshall either. She's immature and selfish (and kind of stupid--anyone can see Josh is a no) but he is quite needy.

He's so awkward, they seem to keep his screen time to a minimum. Just a few shots of him smiling, not much more than that.

I think that she's desperate and smitten with him. I think they had sex too soon and she's not thinking clearly. Meanwhile, Kwame is desperately looking for a way out.

I don't think for a second they're actually in love with each other. And she is domineering and annoying. I'll be relieved when their storyline is done.

My impression is there isn't much depth to the relationship. She wants to be in love, and likes him well enough for him to be the one. He is pretty detached, weird she's not clued in to that.

I can’t get over this situation: Marshall and Jackie are living together, he leaves to go pick out a tux with his family and friends believing she’s going to pick out a wedding dress, when actually she’s out on a date with another man. That is ice cold. Of all the days!
