How big a deal are the recent teacher involuntary transfers?

I thought they were using their positions of power to transfer a few teachers to where they were needed in order to help avoid a crisis brought on by the national teacher shortage.

A predictable crisis that MCPS administrators have neglected for years. Last year was the last straw for many MCPS veteran teachers because of the chaos caused by a lack of planning and lack of staffing.
