The average American has only been to 5 of these places, how many have you been to?

Very white-centric list.

BIPOC people are not even allowed at many of these places.

Black woman here and I’ve been to 30. Pleas tell me which of these places I’m not allowed to visit.

Actually 20, but what a strange list. Are these things supposed to be equivalent? Can you even “visit” the Hollywood sign?

About 20 years ago we drove up as far up as we could go to see how close we could get to it ... and it was still pretty far away!

Yes you can hike up to it. You can't actually touch it anymore (there's a chain link fence( but you are above and over it) It's not a long hike, and you can see the Batcave (from the 1960s Batman with Adam West) on the way (that is a super-short hike from a parking lot, not even sure if you can call it a hike)

When was this? I remember hiking up and touching the sign in 2008.

As to OP's question, 9 is my answer.

The Mall of America??

Why is that on the list?

Well, you have 8 million people who live in NYC and haven't been to any outside of Times Square and Central Park. I would imagine that skews the results.

For all of those who commented on the list…what 34 US attractions would you include? I agree the list is all over the place but isn’t that the point?

I e been to 25. Of the remaining 9 that I would like to go:

Lake Tahoe
French Quarter
Riverwalk
