Three dead children and a teacher (mother of two of the children). Horrible! Inhumane! Who would do such thing? Another animal... I hope he gets caught soon! |
|
How come you did not mention the other two who were killed, the North African and French Caribbean?
They matter too. |
| Of course they do, but in all honesty, I only care about the children here. I'm am not Jewish FYI. |
|
this is terrible between this and the Trayvon case and the story of the mom killing her two toddlers...what is wrong with the world
now that I have a child of my own I just can't fathom the type of person who would kill a child let alone an adult but children? |
Let's not forget the American soldier who killed the children in Afghanistan... |
I think I understand what you are saying here, but doubt this is what you really mean. The death of any innocent person is equally as tragic to the people who love them. Those paratroopers had families - wives, children, parents. You might want to be more careful with your language. |
You mentioned the adults in your OP. |
Yes, and? |
I don't dispute that, but my point was more on the lines of a person needs to be speciially fucked up to shoot and kill children on purpose. You are reading too much in it because I didn't mentio the two soldiers killed a couple of days ago with te same gun. |
|
I think I understand what the other poster is saying. Soldiers are combatants. They/we know there is a risk of them being killed in the line of duty. Someone bringing armed conflict against the government may target them.
I'm not saying that it isn't tragic, but shooting a child is a whole other thing. |
well, yes and no. I'm the poster you are referring to, and even if they were civilians while I would be upset by their death, killing children on purpose is just another level of savagery to me. Worse than that, only if it is acase of mothers killing their children.... Unnatural and horrorifying. |
|
But OP, you say that you are concerned about the children, but you said, "and a teacher". So, it looks like it is not just the children. The article clearly states that other people were gunned down earlier.
Sorry to hijack, but you as well as everyone else, should do a check for fairness in expressing concern. I for one am getting sick and tired of the damn hypocrisy that we immerse ourselves in. Jewish children's deaths are noteworthy, that is the message. |
Yes, I mentioned the teacher because it was he was the father of two of the children (at the time I assumed was the mother). And if you take the "Jewish" away of your statement "Jewish children's death are noteworthy" you are right about me. |
|
Only in DC is it more important to be "right" then to be sorry about the death of innocent people.
Ok...so, you win. You corrected the OP. Pat yourself on the back. Does that make you better? And are the children less dead? What an fun person you must be at parties. |
|
What a ridiculous argument! Every time someone posts about a tragedy, must they really mention every tragedy in the world? Just because some tragedies hit us harder than others, doesnt mean we dont value all lives the same.
OP or anyone else does not have to justify a gut reaction to one tragedy over another. We are all permitted to feel, and post about those feelings, as we want and it doesnt make us any better or worse people bc some news stories touch us in ways that other stories do not. |
