I dont think they have kids playing anymore? If anything someone faked the info? But everything in that email has been talked about in so cal for a while. Worst kept secret.

Not club announcements. League announcements.

That email was not sent to everyone. It looks like it was sent to a parent that has asked.

If you read the email, it is written in first person. A league would not speak in 1st person.

Nope. No. Not a chance.

A complete waste of energy to only benefit ECNL financials.

It will make things worse because parents that want soccer stars will hold their kids back from starting kindergarten.

Not saying you're wrong, but ECNL has already publicly given their opinion, and if they put out a statement saying the same some crazy people here will just accuse them of campaigning for the change.

If USYS gives a public statement, that would really tip off what's going to happen.

ECNL girls had two showcases this weekend, one in San Diego and one in North Carolina. I am guessing we will hear something in the coming days from them.
