How do you start a Super PAC? Can we start one in favor of Women's rights?

Anonymous
We all seem to be upset by this neo-conservative crap. What can we do about it collectively?

You can create a state or federal PAC. The rules depend on where you are doing it. Then you fill it with money from fundraising and spend the money according to the rules of the state/federal government. A new PAC in VA for women's rights is Women's Strike Force. You can google it and find lots of info. They need volunteers...

google womens strikeforce. It's a VA women's pac. Maybe they can direct you.

I don't think you understand what neo-conservative means.

There are Super PACs on all sides. Have at it.

when did women issues become a foreign policy issue?

This one is considered a PAC, not sure about SuperPAC though...

You know PP campaigns for this stuff, right? They run ads, they send emails, they lobby Congress.

And there are other organizations that do the same. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Neoconservatism is a term which is far broader than foreign policy. If I am correct, I believe the first American politician to be called a neo-conservative was Daniel Patrick Moynihan. So clearly the label is a broad and changing one.

I agree but it still doesn't apply here. Quite the opposite.

i undersstand that but i dont think it was being used in the broader context.

it seems like they picked a word most used when one thinks of an extreme republican and that word came up.

i dont really care per se but dont want to go around saying something in the wrong context though

Sorry if this is off topic for this thread but I also wanted to mention the National March Against the War on Women, April 28th for those of you interested in getting involved. There is a DC group on FB but here is the link to the press release from UniteWomen.Org

I'm confused. What other rights do you need? You have representation. If you don't like him/her, you can vote him/her out.

Neo-cons are more liberal than regular cons.

make it legal to sue the government and government employees if they engage in abusive behavior or are negligent in any way.

Like when GW Bush sent out $40 billion in "economic stimulus checks"? I only wish.
