What Diet Pills Do You Use?

Anonymous
I know, diet pills are bad, they don't work, just eat healthy and exercise...ok.

The pills I used to use worked very well but unfortunately they are not made anymore. When I am fat me, I like to use pills and exercise. That keeps me looking like normal me. Once I get there I stop the pills and keep the exercise. Once I stop the exercise eventually I become fat me again.

So what pills are people taking these days because I want to get to normal me.

This sounds really unhealthy, OP. If it's not working for you, maybe a lifestyle change is what's in order.

It does work for me. I will happily enjoy being normal me for a few years until I get sick of exercising and then turn into fat me. Unfortunately I don't like to exercise, but if I don't, it doesn't matter what I eat, I blow up like a balloon. So I can maintain a routine for a couple of years before slacking off.

It's not like I take the pills for years at a time but I do need them because the jump start in weight loss helps me get motivated to stick to my routine. If I just exercise without that extra boost, it doesn't work because I will quit. I have had years and years of testing this. This is how I have to do it or I will stay fat me.

That may not work for some, but it works for me.

If it worked for you, you would not be fat right now.

Ooooo I feel so dissed...

Not really but I hope that made you feel good to get that out.

Ok so no one here takes diet pills? We just get lipo and tummy tucks. Ok, thanks.

Considering this is an educated group of women, I'm guessing there are not many diet pill users.

"We" use diet and exercise to stay healthy and fit.

Sorry, i don't use them. Often tempted when I see some ad making amazing promises, but I assume they are generally very bad for you and that my weight would just bounce back. Instead, I'm constantly hovering at 2-7 pounds above my ideal weight, and working on diet and exercise.

I do feel for you, with the yo yo pattern. But I don't think you'll get much sympathy/help here, in terms of diet pills.

Sorry, OP, if I gain a few I just kick my ass in gear re: nutrition and exercise. Willpower.

A pattern that goes over years doesn't scream "yo-yo" about the OP.

If you contact the people @bb they will tell you exactly what to get...not the people on their forum but the actual company store. They have good service.

I used phentermine on and off for years. It works, but its effectiveness lessens as time goes on. It also has some annoying side effects - constipation, dry mouth, sleeplessness, feeling "wound-up" for lack of a better description

Try eating soup for lunch every day and a healthy breakfast. Whatever you want the rest of the time. Works for me.

Diet pills don't seem safe to me.

I take half of a phendimetrazine 35mg around lunch, count calories, run 4 times a week. Weight comes off fast, once I am happy with my weight i stop taking the pills.

Tell your doctor you want to quit smoking and go on Wellbutrin. I know a couple people who lost weight that way (yes, completely anecdotal and not scientific at all).

My no fail weight loss tip? Go to bed hungry. Never fails. Although I've never needed to lose much more than 5lb, so it might not be sustainable if you are trying to lose more.

When you say diet pills, do you mean over the counter appetite suppressants or a prescription medication?

Wellbutrin has been tested for weight loss in obese people, OP does not sound obese. It's not healthy to mess with your brain chemistry unless absolutely necessary.

OP - please see a doctor or nutritionist (and possibly also a therapist) to help you get on a better cycle.

(I say this, speaking as someone who is 50lbs overweight and has not taken her own advice).
