My no fail weight loss tip? Go to bed hungry. Never fails. Although I've never needed to lose much more than 5lb, so it might not be sustainable if you are trying to lose more.

When you say diet pills, do you mean over the counter appetite suppressants or a prescription medication?

Wellbutrin made me gain weight. Phentermine works great though!

Why do you think the old ones you used to use are not made anymore? If they're safe and they worked, wouldn't the makers be billionares and it would be the most popular pill around?

I used Oxy Elite Pro. Wow, they really really work! I got them from the Vitamin Shoppe.

I used to take diet fuel back in the day and not only did I have no desire for food it actually helped me study. When I mentioned it to my dr in college it turned out I had ADD. One nice side effect of adderall is I never feel like eating. Like you OP I don't take endless supply because I would look ethiopian and I refuse to take it on the weekends bc I don't really need to be on target with stuff.

Good luck, too bad they took the good stuff off the market. I remember finding a bottle of the real stuff online after it was discontinued and felt like I hit the jackpot

Not a diet pill taker, but am curious. What is "the real stuff" that they discontinued?

pills with ephedra, I am sure there were tons of other brands but I took diet fuel and a friend took xenadrine. Both had same active ingredient. I am too young to know about fen-phen but I think that was a big one back in the day, I think it had a different active ingredient.

I loved Ephedra - used to take it whenever I need to lose lbs and it worked great. Helped improve my work outs too.

Fen-Phen was taken off the market because the fen part cuased heart valve defects. The phen part is phentermine and is still available but becomes ineffective over time (like 3-6 months). Some doctors put it with zoloft or prozac which will make it stay effective for longer.

A new diet combo was just approived by some committee at the FDA and its half phentermine, half topomax (I think) but not positive about the second half. They say it works well but it may be a few years before we see it on the market and it may only be for vastly overweight people becuase it works too well for those who need to lose only 5-30 lbs.
