World market furniture?

Anonymous
We saw a great looking bed at World Market.

Anyone have experience w their furniture? We've bought some smaller stuff from there, but never everyday furniture like a bed.

It's whole wood (not laminate or particle board like Ikea ), but we're hesitating because they just have the head and foot boards.

I meant to say they don't have the entire assembled bed. Just the boards

Great quality furniture for super low prices!

It's not super durable, but if it doesn't get a lot of wear and tear, it's great!

Actually, for the price, it's also good for people with small kids.

We have a few pieces from WM.

My dining room table and chairs are from WM. We've had them about seven years. Two cross country moves and three kids later, it is finally showing wear. It is pretty durable and I'm thinking about just having the top refinished rather than buying a new set. Until then, I started using a table cloth (probably should have done that from the get go).

I needed dining room chairs and searched for months. I bought table and chairs at World Market cheaper than any single dining chair I had found. And I liked it better than any I had looked at anywhere. Table still in box but chairs have been wonderful. Sitting in one now. I would have paid 3 times the price for them.

My dining table and chairs are from there also (had them 6 years now) as well as the coffee/end/console table in my fam room. The dining set has held up better but even the fam room stuff is still in really good shape. I have been very pleased and you cannot beat their prices. I say go for it!

I bought a huge, durable wicket basket to store tons of bedding. Very well made!

I have a World Market bed in our bedroom. Had it for 7+ years and it's still in wonderful condition. Same for our dining room table and chairs.

I have a dining table and bench set (Napa model) that I bought second hand, and it's looking great and holding up beautifully.

Love love love World market for furniture! We got a coffee table and some end tables there years ago and they are solid, heavy pieces! Really durable. We also got a kitchen table and chairs there about 5 years back and it is really solid. My husband always complains about flimsy chairs (He's a big guy, 6 ft tall and 220 lbs) but he loved how sturdy the world market chairs were. Highly recommend!

Just purchased a dining table and chairs this weekend and am impressed with how heavy they are. This weekend they were running 25% off which made the table only $375 and it seemed very very good for that price.

I also several WM pieces of furniture and they've held up great. They seem to have figured out how to do cheap import furniture in a way that is both stylish and durable, unlike say Pier 1.
