| Does anybody know a great swim instructor in NOVA? We are gearing up for summer swim team and my child could use some work on stroke refinement. My other child is just learning the basics. Any recommendations would be appreciated! |
| Where are you? |
| Arlington - thanks! |
|
Yes! We've used Rachel -Rachel.L.Eisinger@gmail.com- located in Arlington. She is GREAT!
I have three kids (all are swim teamers). She has helped them so much and the kids are so excited about summer swim! |
Thanks! Does she have access to a pool?
|
Yes! Indoor pool. Really convenient for us to have year-round lessons.

| Our children love swim instructor Liz Coleson She comes to our condo pool and gives the children lessons in the summer. Liz's email is: Lizardmac1@earthlink.net |

Our Family has been using Liz Coleson for our daughter who is 2yrs old. She is truly a miracle worker. My daughter was fearful of going underwater from a bad experience she had as an infant. Liz had her going under in the second lesson. She is now swimming to the wall and is able to turn over and get a breath. I am very impressed with the safety skills my daughter has learned during the past summer.
My youngest attends the Water tot class at Washington Lee High school in Arlington on Saturday mornings and is able to go underwater and glide to the wall at 11mo. old. If your child is between 6mo. and 3yrs you cannot afford to miss this enlightening swim class. |

Liz Coleson teaches my 3 & 4yr old in my mothers pool.
Liz has a way of gaining children's trust and breaking fears. She has taught all our neighbors and cousins for years. Our children have gained confidence and life skills that have changed their lives. |

| Our family has used Liz Coleson to come teach in our summer pool. All three of our children have learned to swim over a summer. Liz has a way of building a childs' trust and she can get my children to do what I cannot get them to do in the water on my own. They are so brave when swimming with her also she has them completely water safe with self rescue skills. My oldest learned to jump into the water fully clothed and blew up her pants to make a life jacket, then swim all the way down the lane. These are the best life skills my children could learn. |
| Amazing Instructor! Liz taught our big group for 3 summers, the older children are now on the swim team and are placing 1st and 2nd in all strokes. Liz runs a educational swim lesson with safety drills for the younger ones, the kids have a lot of fun while learning. My 2yr old learned to float on her back unassisted, get a breath and swim under water to the wall and climb out. She taught my 4yr old to freestyle and get a side breath, he swims better than I do! |
| This sounds like ISR skills! But she is not listed as an ISR instructor on their website - anyone know why? |
| Do you know of a great swim instructor in the MoCo area- NW DC, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Rockville areas? |
My twin 2yr olds have been taking lessons from Liz since May. and can now swim 15ft across our pool, I am very pleased after only 10 lessons.
