If its a health issue, there is no reason to hide it. People would be very sympathetic to her and by extension to whole fam. Damsel in distress, loyal prince at her side, makes better PR than photoshopped normalcy.

Some of the speculation is silly but even the craziest conspiracy theories I've read, I don't see anyone acting like Qanon. People are just bored and gossiping about the royal family is a way to pass the time. It's no different from gossiping about Brad and Angelina or speculating whether the stars of a television show actually hate each other behind the scenes.

I would never gossip about my friends but view royals as fair game. I've been exchanging theories on Kate's whereabouts with my two closest friends via text to keep my mind of some work stress. It's great and harmless.

The paralyzed comment is interesting. The way she was seated did look odd and you could see something like that being something they’d cover up for a while…but I also can’t imagine her siblings would have been off vacationing normally if she had an accident if that magnitude.

One thing is that for everyone saying nothing is up, “something” is obviously up at this point. Whether it’s health or personal, major or minor we don’t know. I think some of these really elaborate theories seems outlandish and also think there’d be more leaking if some were true (there clearly are staff, drs, etc who know what’s up).

I disagree. Taking a break is frequently needed when dealing with serious life situations. They can take turns in the caring.

They are not held to a higher standard by any stretch. Kensington Palace submitted the photoshopped image to the various news agencies. News agencies have a responsibility to make sure the info they spread is true. An amateur choppy photoshop job does not meet those standards.

If Kate just posted it on Instagram, people would have noticed the photoshopping, but it would not have blown up the way it did. Kardashians do it all the time, but they also don’t submit those pics to AP.

If the royals think their Mother’s Day pic is news, they should be held to that standard. The British media has let them slide on these types of little fibs but it doesn’t work internationally.
