The Kane Show Discussion Thread

Does that only leave Baltimore and DC as their radio market? Considering Kane had a multi-million dollar syndicated contract, YMS is not going to last more then a few months if these small to medium sized markets keep dropping.

When TKS first started it was only in the DC. As his show grew, they became syndicated and kept getting picked up in other markets.

I have a lot of respect for her for coming 'clean' about the addiction issue. It takes a lot to be public about something like that. I have to admit I don't think Natasha is innocent in all that went on but I am rooting for her in her sobriety.

Exactly. It takes courage to seek help and be honest. Kane is neither honest nor courageous.

I’m glad she addressed her addiction in this first post. This should now save us 10s of pages of people arguing she had issues versus those saying she didn’t.

I wish she could post the letters she’s receiving. I’d love to know the grounds on which the lawyers continue to argue.

Natasha, if by some chance you do read this, bravo to you. We'lll all be watching and reading. It sounds like it's been a hell of a journey and nothing shameful about having an addiction to cope. People can't judge if they aren't going through that experience. It's inspiring to see her step up and own this and want to speak her truth. We also still don't know the extent of his problems, addictions, or reason to lose all of his livelihood.

Don't let him bully you any more! Damn I wish she'd go on the news about this lol!!

I don't know what he's so scared of her saying at this point. His image and career are ruined whether she stays silent of not.

This is not a criticism of Natasha, but I wonder if it has to do with the fact that she alludes to a lot of things (him being abusive, etc.) but provides little to no evidence or even descriptions of what 'abuse' took place. Even now, I'm curious of her blog posts will actually materialize. Regardless - I'm glad she seems to be doing better.

Ugh - she seems like a nice person and I actually believe she will tell the truth (though leave out truth also - it will be the narrative she wants to tell), but this seems like grasping at straws to get a last gasp of relevance. Move on from the drama and create your own brand / image. Or not, but while everyone should be able to speak their truth, trying to strike while the iron is hot from a publicity lens just makes your story feel like a Gimmick / pr strategy

Of course it has to do with that, the woman has clearly been scared for a very long time.
