What 2011 teams are qualifying this year??

Not dissing your kids, great girls and solid players but just not what the best of the best is about. A kid rides the bench for a whole year at one ECNL team, then moves to another just to finish at the bottom of the conference, then hops over to FVU that ends average but gets the USYNT ID invite - just shows you the integrity of the whole selection process. Our player was once flaunted a USYNT recommendation to join the team at one of those clubs. This isn’t about quality or accomplishment, it’s all about club/parent politics.
Meanwhile ARL sees consistent success and many players feel like major contributors but don’t get the recognition and VDA gets the most invites for consistently average performance. It’s complicated, messy and not at all fair.
i should be sleep lmao.

And geez that was oddly specific about FVU player. You speak my language however. My question is newish coach. Is everyone scared to speak up? And as I understand it vDA got the invites even before BP showed up. Is that the chosen club for that pathways exposure? How does a team consistently making post season runs… you finish the rest. Make it make sense.

CPT ARL, it’s about players with YNT potential, not the best team. VDA and FCV were the area leaders in training center and real ynt camp invites while BP was at FCV. VDA is now the clear leader with FCV being gone.

Do you really think the whole system is against you? Maybe your DD isn’t good enough or is at the wrong club?

Not good enough is not in the realm of possibilities of these delusional people. It’s all a conspiracy against them.

ARL probably has the second highest number of total 2011 invites.

Who has the most?

VDA of course!

I think this is actually true.

Sadly, I think you’re right.

Not true. Perhaps that is the perception but if you actually do the math, it’s not true. It’s a huge issue for the club, not just at this age group.

So what is your logic? The entire team should get selected?

I think both ARL and VDA have had 7–8 kids overall to the ID sessions over the year. That’s almost half the team and it seems to be in pretty good number.

I believe Bethesda also has similar numbers

Almost half the team is nothing to complain about, those that are on here complaining and are feeling slighted aren't a) getting the hint that their kid isn't top half and b) maybe they should switch cubs if this training camp means so much to them. Maybe their kid is top half on another team

We all know ARL only promotes a very small number of their players. Nothing new…keep movin along.

7 girls have been invited. What is your definition of small?

Every one gets invited but none makes YNT. Just shows it was more of a club invite than the actual scout LOL. Stop arguing about these nonsense call ups.

There were 2 NOVA 2011’s in the last YNT camp. What’re you talking about?

Look, it was stated that ARL has had the
most invites. I said that statement isn’t true. At every camp there have been clubs with more players than ARL. It holds true again for the upcoming camp.

I never said the entire team should be selected. Rag on ARL all you want, but math is math.

That’s the thing, instead of complaining about arlington on here maybe switch clubs and see if your DD gets selected at all these other clubs that you seem to think get more spots than Arlington does

Not actually embargoed because at least one FVU kid has posted their invitation. Looking forward to seeing the rest! I assume Richmond kids who got passed over last time will get the invitations too. Unfortunately the invites are being watered down — not just with this added on session but also the first session with so many GA kids. If the point is to take the top kids from every club, fine. But the top kids at some clubs wouldn’t make the bottom or middle of other clubs.
