Lots of people come from "a legit real family" and then behave differently than their parents or siblings. Especially if in the interim, they become famous pro football stars with tons of money and a lot of women throwing themselves at him.

Travis demonstrated clearly before he started dating Taylor that he is obsessed with attention and being in the spotlight, will happily exploit his personal life for fame and money (e.g. his dating reality show), and that he definitely has a preference for women with similar tendencies.

To me one of the biggest red flags: even though Taylor was more famous and inarguably more successful than Travis before they started dating (definitely financially more successful), it is Taylor who has folded herself around his life, not the other way around. She's attended nearly every one of his games, dressed herself up in his team gear, gotten friendly with his mom, his friend's wives, and the team. Is Travis doing the same thing. Like Taylor and Brittney Mahomes are suddenly BFFs, but is Travis making this effort with Taylor's supposedly close group of friends and their spouses? Did we see him hugging and palling around with Cara Delavigne, is he boosting Selena's makeup line on his socials? No, of course not. This is about Travis -- his career, his family, his friends, his team.

Maybe after the Super Bowl, this reverses and suddenly Travis will be showing up places wearing Era's tour gear and palling around with her friends. But I doubt it. He did a little of that before (wearing the friendship bracelets and going to that show on her South America swing) but don't think he'll ever show up for her the way she's showing up for them. They are actually demonstrating a disturbingly "traditional" relationship where his life and career take precedence and her job is to look pretty and act supportive. Which is frankly disturbing coming from one of the most successful female performing artists of all time, if not THE most successful. I find it weird and uncomfortable to watch her performing "perfect football girlfriend" for him.

He's been desperately trying to become a part of Hollywood for years and they have not been a secret. Every woman he dated pre-Taylor was some kind of hot Instagram influencer type. He had a dating reality show. He wants to be an actor.

He might not be from Hollywood, but he wants to be. Taylor was a nice little shortcut for him.
