Fillers for Under Eyes

Anonymous
Can anyone recommend a medi spa or doctor that does fillers under the eye. Many won't do it, but I need it. I'm a little afraid. I have tried everything else and already get filler in my laugh lines.

I had it done at Cultura in Friendship Heights to disguise my under-eye bags. Not all the technicians are comfortable with doing it under the eyes. I have to say the results were fabulous in terms of evening out the bags/filling in the depression under the bags. The one problem is that I had significant bruising under one eye that took several weeks to resolve and I still have very slight uneven coloration there. The improvement was so dramatic, that I'm considering getting it done again once it fades, even at the risk of having to hide a bruise for several weeks. At about 2 mos. plus, the bag concealment is still working very well.

I do not recommend cultura/Dr. Battle at all.

There is very good reason why most responsible docs won't do this procedure. Head the warning signs, or don't complain.

Your safest and most effective bet is lower Blepharoplasty.

OP here - I just don't think I need anything that involved.

has anyone tried Prep H for eyes bags?

puffy bags are fat deposits, hemmroid cream will not help that. Dark circles are blood vessles close to thin skin, hemmroid cream won't change that either.

Lower Bleph is only good for bags. Under eye hollowing needs to be corrected with a fat transfer or filler.

I did Dysport at The Dermatology Center in Bethesda, very happy with results.

$300. They charge by the amount they inject though, so it would differ person by person. Still have a little bit of wrinkles under the eyes (not nearly as much though), and the wrinkles on the side are pretty much gone. It's only been a few weeks so I'll report back to let you know how long it lasts.

That's all? Do you know how much they charge for other filler injections? I've had derms in McLean/Reston charge around $900 for lips, and they've used less than 1 vial-they charge by the area. Pretty pricey...

Dysport is not a filler. It's a wrinkle relaxer like Botox. I think the fillers like Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse are generally more expensive than Botox/Dysport.

I was the one who posted about the Dysport. I should have mentioned this. Thanks for clarifying.
