That’s a bit of an understatement. The rest of the world is going WTF once again.

Not the people in El Salvador, or the Meloni voters in Italy, or the Poilevre voters in Canada.

Worldwide, many people, if not most, are not going WTF. They know. Now the wealthy elites, yes, they are probably surprised. But they should not be.

Oh stop with wealthy elites non sense already. The GOP is pro corporation and the party of tax breaks for the rich. The rest of the world sees you as delulu.

Why did Fortune 500 CEOs support Harris?

Stability. You'd know that if you were somewhat cultured and well read. Historically, rightwing governments bring about a lot of volatility and social upheaval which in turn brings uncertainty and instability—two things that are bad for business.

Not sure what history you're referring to? Sounds revisionist, tbh.

Show me a single country led a by a far right wing regime that was/is a bastion of stability and not a volatile shitshow.

If that's your measure, show me a country led by a far left regime that isn't a disaster?

I thought we were talking about Republican or Democrat presidencies in this country. Guess you were talking about something else.

*She* is not worse. Our country, our electorate is worse.

Calling your fellow country folk bad but calling illegals good people doesn’t help Democrats.

I watched Dr. Phil’s speech at a recent rally and he made some reasonable common sense points that resonated.

Many of the Asian miracle economies were authoritarian before they transitioned to democracies. They wouldn't have been able to transform their economies otherwise.

Anonymous wrote:Speaking as someone who voted, donated, and volunteered only Democrat all my life, I voted Trump this year and am glad to see the Democrat clown car break down.

Democrats have become the party of flagrant lies. Trans women are women. School closures work. Hunter Biden's laptop is fake. There is no border crisis. Inflation is in your head.

You can't gaslight the country on so many issues and then have any leg to stand on in crying about disinformation.

I voted as a slap the party in the hopes the party wakes the hell up.
.

Good luck. So when struggle hits over these next four years remember it was your choice. Don’t scapegoat the Dems at that point. You sacrificed your fellow man to “slap a party.” Thanks a bunch!

PP here. I'm ready. You should have been ready too the moment Dems started lying about all the issues I raised (and much more). This is a chance for the party to make an about-face. Enough of this strong immigration policy is racism, reading grocery prices properly is disinformation, men in ugly wigs are women, kids on puberty blockers is good. No one is buying it. Race back to the center on social issues and get real on economic and immigration policy.

I'm an immigrant Black woman with an advanced degree. The moment even **I** said enough of this bullsh!t, I knew Democrats were done. All around me, I see white people lying to themselves that any minority who doesn't like where the party is headed must be a sellout or a Russian troll. Wake up and get out of your echo chamber before you lose a generation.

Don't tell the dems what to do. We owe you nothing. You have voted for your man , you want the center ? Ask him to provide you with center policies. I mean, it looks like you're on the cusp of victory and here you are telling dems what you want. Utterly laughable Ms 'black immigrant woman'.

One more thing: worry about your vagina and let others dispose of their bodies as they please. What's wrong ? Are the men in ugly wigs doing better than you on the dating market?

PP here. You're why Democrats lost. You'd rather double down on foolishness than admit your ideas are garbage. Oh, well. Trump will get the job I need him to do done.

Let us worry about us and you go enjoy your victory.

PP here. Enjoying the victory is exactly why I'm here lol. You're a stand-in for the obnoxious white liberals at work and in my greater network. Tomorrow they'll all run over to me and apologize that Trump won because all they see is Black + Female and they assume they know all about me. I'm put on an Oscar-winning pretense that the outcome is so sad, but I'll be smiling inside.

Spoken like a true elitist. Bet you loved the country and the electorate last election.

Harris was a terrible candidate. Trump is far from perfect, but for most Americans (who don’t live in upper NW and have a beach house), things were better 4 years ago. The majority of Americans vote with their brain and their pocketbook.

The president does not have a button to automatically lower prices or whatnot, it takes time for policies and presidential stuff to kick in. It is delusional to blame the prices on a singular person when there are many outside factors, and policies do take time to kick in!!!

MSNBC trying to downplay the win of senate by republicans.
But Psaki still trying to hold out hope for Harris win.

When we were navigtating the depths of covid with leaders suggesting we drink bleach, and inflation had started ticking up? That 4 years ago? I understand why people voted for Trump, but things being better 4 years ago is not on the list

I'm the Black immigrant woman who has posted upthread and the faces of the pundits on CNN are cracking me up. This is 2016 all over again and these people really did not see this coming AGAIN. Goodness.
