Can we analyze jennifer lopez?

she clearly cares a lot what others think - otherwise she wouldn’t make two movies about ben. why couldn’t she just be with him? because she wanted us to know how perfect her relationship is.

Agreed. For how big and ugly the outside is, the inside feels very homey. Way too much space but not as empty as I was expecting

I think that hallway in the entrance probably has the total sq footage of the largest house I've ever lived in.

They’re all in the Hamptons

The movie isn't about Ben, it's about her.

The movie is called This is me Now..A Love Story.

So the love story is to herself?

This is part of the confusion behind this project and why people are calling her a narcissist . Why would it take someone like Ben to teach her how to love herself? He barely loves himself and generally seems like a self loathing downer about life .

In the documentary, Ben says he realized that the movie wasn't about him, but about Jennifer loving herself. Now the movie's story does support this narrative when it's ending with her alone and smiling, until the very end when Ben shows up (though you don't see his entire face but we all know it's him) and that seems to be the karmic reward for Lopez finding self-acceptance. It should have ended with empowered Lopez standing by herself. Have you seen it?

Yes. I don’t understand the purpose of it. It’s like she was making fun of herself as one big SNL skit. Who cares that she was married four times? Most celebrities particularly popstars have been divorced twice . Britney’s just gone through her third divorce . The same amount as J Lo. I don’t understand why J Lo wanted to spend 30 million dollars to tell us what we all know: that she sees Ben as her soulmate . Is she really that proud of being Ben’s girl? Why would she think a drunk , gambler, and cheat is her Prince Charming?

that doesn't require a movie, either. the bottom line is, she is obsessed with appearances and what others think of her. to say that she can do whatever she pleases is true technically but not really.

I would love to see her reunite with ARod. That seemed to be her most mature relationship.

Violet and Jennifer were in the Hamptons.

I don’t get why anyone would need 24 bathrooms. I don’t understand houses like this. Why would you want to live here with your family?

Don’t tell me you like to host a big Thanksgiving. The whole thing screams mental illness.

She was just as cringy when she was with arod. I remember the last time ( I think ) she hosted SNL and she was with him. Her monologue was so cringe because she needed to broadcast her relationship with a NY Yankee. It's another source of attention for her. She will never have a quiet relationship. It's about getting attention. Also the show seemed to be a narc fest. Most hosts get some of the jokes directed back at them or they do skits that don't make them appear so perfect. As I recall a lot of the humour was about how hot she was. The writers allowed her to turn it into a narc fest. I had been supportive of her and was very disappointed.

Did Violet wear her mask?

Why is she taking Violet shopping if she claims Ben getting back with her was a financial shakedown? Is she going to pay the Yale tuition too? If so, Ben is smarter than he looks
