Sometimes you have to get tough to reveal a witness's lies. Blanche managed to get Cohen to confess to lying in his testimony.

The paper documents and Trump's admissions corroburate the main narrative of the story, no matter how much anyone wants to paint Cohen a liar, as if the American public didn't already know that.

I hope so. Nothing could be sweeter than Trump brought down by a woman!

Bill Maher played the tape showing she lied in court.

What does noted legal scholar Bill Maher claim she lied about?

He interviewed her 6 years ago. "This is not a me-too"

Then why put him up? He took the stand and lied.

Whether or not she lied is kind of irrelevant to the crime itself.

He had to tie everything together and relay what happened on the phone calls.

They are not arguing about whether the sex happened. The issue is him paying to “catch and kill” and paying to silence women so it wouldn’t affect his campaign.

So what does he think she lied about? She has never said she was raped or that it wasn’t consensual.

And, those phone calls were very much a focus of testimony on Thursday.
Text messages indicated that Cohen lied about at least one of the phone calls. That puts all of his testimony in question.

I wonder what the two attorneys on the jury think about the fact that Cohen has totally disregarded attorney-client privilege AND was secretly recording his clients.
I also wonder what they think about the fact that the crime that turns the dead misdemeanor to a felony has not been outlined.

Any good attorney would be concerned about these facts.

I wonder what the two attorneys think of the defense attorney’s claim that Trump never had sex with Ms. Daniels.

Considering that Stormy Daniels herself signed not one, but two letters stating the same thing, they are likely wondering if this story has been an effort to try to prevent the election of Trump in 2016. We have since seen that Democrats will go to most any lengths........you know... "the insurance policy" and such.......

They are probably wondering why Trump didn’t just plead guilty given the overwhelming evidence against him.

Because of what has come out at this trial, the payments look like extortion.

Not clear on this, but I haven't seen any evidence that Trump directed Cohen to take out a HELOC (and hide doing so from his wife) in order to fund the payment.
