Post your DCs names and we'll tell you what we assume about you. Snark is obviously expected!

You decided to stay home after kid#2 and now devote a lot of time to the PTAs of both the elementary and preschools at which your kids attend. Although ou secretly wish you could afford to send your kids to DC privates. Your husband is home by 7 pm every night and takes the kids to the playground on Sunday mornings while you clean and do errands. You drive a navy blue Odyssey.

You are a good storyteller

DH is a healthcare exec and, after a successful career in a related industry and a break to stay home with the boys and help her dad through chemo treatments, DW is now contemplating a next move that would enable a more flexible work schedule but get her back in the game. In the meantime, she’s very involved at the boys private school, where they are excelling despite some issues early in the year when Peter (the quieter of the two) took on a 2nd grader who made fun on Sam’s kitten lunchbox. That’s pretty typical of the two of them - fiercely loyal to each other but fight like cats and dogs.

I'm amazed by what you got right. Boys aren't twins (8 and 5) and thankfully there's no cancer in the family. But Peter did fight a kid picking on Sam. The boys are very close and do like to swing the golf clubs and I do volunteer at their private school. And DH and I met in business school.

Their names are so simple and straightforward that I'd have thought it difficult to extrapolate much from them. I guess I'm wrong.

NP. Wow.

Try Ella and Noah please.

Joel's in college, Ben and Zach are teens and Emma is a tween. You are a soccer family - and you are a soccer mom. At every game, cheering. You've alternated between SAHM and very family friendly flexible jobs. You are social and extroverted and really love being a mom. You are active (or were active when they were younger) in school life and love to host other kids and be that house where everyone hangs out.

Ella and Noah. Such bundles of energy!! They live in Maryland and are not too religious but are socially Jewish. Their mom is from a family of girls, so knew Ella was going to be a girl, but of course had the sonogram to prove it. Then went wild with pink stuff! Ella loves pink and princesses and insisted on wearing a tutu everywhere (even on the airplane that one time) for the duration of one long hot summer when she was a toddler. Ella owns more shoes than her father, but is especially attached to her rain boots from Target. She has long hair with beautiful natural waves, but hates having it brushed. She has a best friend named Sadie who had a dog and now she wants one too. Sadie's mom and Ella's mom are really good friends and get together often and love to drink martinis and/or margaritas.
And then came Noah. Needed to try to break the family trend and try for a boy...and the sonogram said YES. There was a big gender reveal party and the whole extended family went crazy when the blue bubbles came out of the giant bubble machine shaped like a stork. There is a youtube video of this momentous event but it only got 800 views.
And then came Noah. Almost literally. He came a month early and had to spend some time in the NICU, but he is a fighter and went home at almost 6 pounds! He was a fussier baby than Ella but has such cute red hair and happy smile everyone just loves him. Except for that time he threw up on Ella's favorite dress-up clothes while crawling around in her room. Thank goodness he didn't get the tutu, though.
Noah is now old enough to say all sorts of things. Fun fact: his first word was "la" for Ella. They live on a nice street, but there is one weird neighbor who has a teenage boy and he is sulky and drives too fast. He is slightly overweight, too.

Upper middle class, white, educated parents, politically moderate but tend to vote Democrat. Kids in good public schools.

Yup. Pretty much.

Quinn is one of these names in Europe that is lower class. It simply was a name that Irish people used to describe their 5th child. Here people think it's sophisticated. Just like Tristan (which means sad), and Heather (England trash).
