| I am planning a lunch with DH (w/o his knowledge). Can you suggest a restaurant in MD suburbs of Howard/Montgomery counties that has great beer? Even other counties are fine. He loves beer and I know nothing about it. Bonus if we can take our 1 year old since we will be going there pretty early. Thank you!! |
| Franklin's in Hyattsville has a brewery, and it's pretty kid friendly. Great stuff! |
| Dogfish Head in Gaithersburg. Franklin's in Hyattsville. Brewer's Alley in Frederick. |
|
If you wanted to head all the way to Baltimore, I highly recommend Brewer's Art.

I know one of the owners of Brewer's Art. He'll be tickled when I tell him about this thread... |

Some suggestions:
Montgomery County: Rock Bottom Brewery, Bethesda. Quarry House, Silver Spring. Howard County: Ram's Head Tavern, Savage (North Laurel) |
| Dogfish Head, Gordon Biersch |
Also recommend the Pratt Street Ale House in Baltimore. They're both awesome, but Pratt Street has some of the best English-style beers on the East Coast. |
|
Freddy's Lobster and Clams in Bethesda has a great beer list (I'd consider it kid friendly except that it has a fairly limited menu).
Mussel Bar in Bethesda has a lot of Belgian beer (and also a limited menu and less kid friendly). |

I love Growler's in Gaithersburg.

| Le Mannequin Pis in Olney. |
| Frisco Grill and Victorias in HoCo. The first has the better drink selection and the second has the better food. Also check out Blob's Park (German beer hall). |
| Fire Station #1 or Quarry House in Silver Spring. |
OP, here's a request for clarification: We need to know what kind of beer he likes (German, American IPA, English, etc...). What's in the fridge right now? |
Tell him I said gods all bless him and his Resurrection Ale! |
