Through his clothes and accessories, he looks like he’s trying, desperately, to project that he’s cool and masculine, but he’s failing miserably. He’s just naturally kind of effeminate.

Thank you - I wondered if it was the same as the portrait outfit! Perhaps she is trying to look like a caterer and fade into the background. I think this is only her first public appearance since the inauguration.

I inadvertently dressed like the staff at a formal event once by wearing a white top and black skirt, and I overheard the middle aged mean girls laughing at me. Lesson learned!

I consider her the best dressed of the Trump women. That does not mean I like everything or even most things she wears. Just that she does the least horrible job with fashion and doesn't want to look like a blow-up doll like Kim G.

I was wondering the same thing. Dressing like a man could be a power move in more ways than one. If you have true power, you don't have to dress like a bimbo to keep Trump happy. By dressing like this, she might be saying she does what she wants.
