In normal times, it would be a blatant ethics violation for the Speaker of the House and Senators and Congressmen to make statements attempting to influence and/or interfere with a trial in progress.

Wow, that’s so true and it seemed hum drum when I first read it. Weird times, indeed! (Np)

No, not “weird;” weird is kind of a gentle and non malicious word. There’s malice in this and in an ex president*** telling his four minions what to wear when they show up at his trial.

Missed the point by a country mile, in all respects.

I think not understanding anything is a prerequisite for voting Republican.

Cohen definitely sold his soul. Had Trump not shoved him under the bus I’m sure he would’ve remained a loyal fixer for Mr Trump.

But Trump doesn’t stand by people. One of the saddest things was the testimony that when Cohen asked Trump about Melania re stormy, Trump said something to the effect that there was a line of women trying to marry him. In the scheme of everything it’s small beer, but what an empty useless life Trump leads. Imagine not caring about any other single human being besides yourself.

He seems to have mental illness that puts his behavior well outside of normal integrated behavior.

I think Todd Blanche is making a big mistake with his shouting and beating up on Cohen. Blanche is making Cohen an underdog and getting the jury's sympathy.

LOL. No. Cohen is NOT an underdog. And, the recordings and postings and Tik Toks of Cohen show the jury that he is not an underdog.
He is a convicted felon. He is a serial liar. He even lied during this trial.
He is not credible.

They spent too much time talking about his social media posts, and not enough time actually discussing the testimony.

I agree that yelling was a poor choice. In a trial full of sleaze balls, losing his temper with one isn’t doing him any favors.

It reeks of desperation and the jury can smell it.

Why is he shouting at Cohen?

Because trump hates cohen and told him to. The defense had made a bunch of horrible strategic and tactical mistakes in this trial and I suspect trump is the reason for all of them.
