| A friend and I plan to offer to host a sign-up party as a donation for our school auction this year. These are usually big sellers at our school. I am searching for new good ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Progressive Dinner - http://entertaining.about.com/cs/dinnerparties/a/progressivedinn.htm
Ice Cream Social (but children are typically invited) Sex in the City Cocktail Party (moms only) Our school has a progressive dinner party every year and it's been a HIT and huge money maker for years. |
We did a Pimps and Hoes party when we lived in NYC. It went reasonably well. A few of the more uptight upper-crust crowd were offended. |
| Hmm, that last one isn't going to fly at our school. Any other suggestions? |
Ugh. If I'm offended, does that automatically make me uptight and/or upper-crust? |
| Key party - A couples party where all of the men put their car keys into a bowl or bag and at the end of the party, the women blindly select a set of keys to determine who she goes home with for the rest of the evening. |

Do it. DOOOOOO EEEEEEET!!!!! |
LMBO !!!!!!!!!! |
All the people who complained about our party were the elites--- the PTA crowd who were always volunteering at the school and didn't have a sense of humor. |

We did a waistline party, we measured the waistlines and the inches were paid in dollars. Raised a substantial amount of money in addition as an offset we had vendors from the Weight Watchers, Nutra-Systems, Jenny and other weight loss programs. We charged them a thousand dollars a table for them to display their goods. Instantly we raised about 10 grand in one night.
We are planning to do it again in the spring in the hoping we can secure Janet Jackson, Jennifer Hudson or Mariah Carey for a guest appearance. |
and I thought the Pimp party was a bad idea... |
| This thread has potential to be entertaining, but is in danger of withering on the vine. Any other party ideas? |
| Start a super PAC? |
