It might be cheesy, but it always sounded fun to me to have one of those murder mystery parties.

That will be bust. The murder rate is down in DC but PG schools should seriously consider the fundraiser idea.

How about a house break-in, robbery or car break-in bingo? Rules are forthcoming.

How about a PTSA/HSA membership beauty pageant. I mean a scholarship pageant we can't all be about beauty because brains do matter.

Are you dating yourself Too Wong Foo? I mean a flash dance look it up on youtube. But if you can get a group of people to wear leg-warmers, leotards and sweat head bands to dance that is half the job done.

Oh honey, I have no doubt I'm dating myself. However, not only did I search "Flash Dance" on YouTube, but I googled it as well. You should try it. Mega-hits for the Flashdance movie w/ Jennifer Beals. From both sources.

Anyway, a PP mentioned funny. Honestly, the idea of a bunch of PTA moms trying to pull off that kind of hotness is kind of funny. Yet, in any event it seems a more likely fundraiser than a bunch of people getting together and dancing because someone tweeted it. Fun? Sure, if you're in your teens. Money-raising? I must be too old, because I need someone to explain how that would make money.
