Not how much do you charge per hour, but how much do you actually make per hour worked.
Like if you work for the government and you make say 90K for a 40 hour week, but you put in 3 productive hours a day, do this math: 90,000/(3hrs x 5 x 48) the 48 is the number of weeks per year you work, considering sick and vacation. Or, if you are an architect and "charge" $250 and hour, calculate what time you actually spend on a project and come up with the true hourly pay. |

OP, I am not sure why a smiley face came up instead of the number 48 followed by).
Also, teachers, your weeks worked will be less considering summer. If you work night shifts, there is a differential like 15% that you should be getting as compensation. If not, increase you hours by 15%. |
I make $45k and do about 5 hours of work a week. So I make $187.50/hour. I guess when you look at it that way, I'm making out like a bandit.
