You are forgetting (or not knowing) there is a fundamentalist sect of Christian evangelicalism that does not abhor this type of courtship/marriage to young teenage girls. Another PP here. I do not know about Alabama but I am from Mississippi and I am not sure you know much about the South and small towns in general. In my small hometown, a lot of the powerful guys in town had power over whether people got jobs, loans, whether your son went to jail, etc. No one wanted to be on the bad side of judges or DA's. I saw people turn their heads to some awful stuff because they did not want to take on the some of these guys.

And/or they don't seem to understand there are many reasons victims are afraid to come forward.

Let's say, for discussion's sake, a handwriting expert says it is him and one says it isn't. If you agree with the one that says that isn't his signature, what exactly do you think happened? Someone (a Forensic Handwriting Forger Expert?) found his signature, presumably after being paid by Allred and this faux victim conceived of, and wrote that? And signed it DA? Maybe Allred hired this signature forger (for a signature that looks STARTLINGLY like his, despite the small discrepancies per your post) and paid him ridiculous sums of money? Perhaps she donated to Doug Jones or just hates all men or both?

Well, you've written off one of the victims. Now how about all the other dozens of witnesses who have confirmed that he was a known creeper at the mall, ymca, etc.? What about the 14 year old who is a Republican and who came from a solid Republican family, as confirmed by a friend? Are they all "chasing ambulences", every single one of the dozens who have talked to the media this past week?? Seems kind of a stretch.

NP. I think what that PP was trying to say is that the 7s look different, as do the ys and rs and that Allred has a questionable history and is well in bed with Democratic leadership.
