It’s very hard to relocate in your 70s
Reality and fantasy is very different. It takes you at least a minimum of two years to get used to a new area doesn’t matter that her son lives there. Her son is not her daughter, big difference and grandkids and Teresa probably is a creature of habit as we all are, but she is stuck in high school doesn’t strike me as the type that would pick up and move away from the people that matter the most to her.
