Trying to predictively rank teams at U13 is a silly exercise.
Some teams excel earlier than others due to nothing more than either physical maturity or prior experience to full field. Things tend to shake out as the year progress through U14. U14 is when things tend to fall inline. |

Celtic union is no more. It’s Celtic coppermine. Baltimore union will be a top team. Also why would you think Baltimore armour will do well? SAC was not a very good team. |

| Hopefully if Celtics have merged with Coppermine they will actually be taught the game of soccer rather than bulldozing over girls because they're bigger. It seems like Celtics just went out and found the biggest girls they could who then just knock their opponents down and take the ball. That tactic wont work as girls get older and catch up in physical stature. |

FYI, Baltimore Armour took the best Celtic players from last year along with the best girl from Severna Park. Don’t be surprised if they are top dog in GA for the incoming year. The Union Coach left and went to Pipeline taking the top Union players with her. They may finish top of ECNL. |

Before I get ripped apart, I am not a Bethesda parent but have seen them play multiple times.
Bethesda pretty much beat the #1 team in the entire US at Regionals. Matchfit tied the game with zero time left in regulation and then won on a Corner Kick in Extra time. They came out of the same group and eliminated Loudoun They also did extremely well at the SuperCopa event. Transitioning to 11v11 this year could see changes. No idea if they lost any key players either which would change things. Can't ignore these results. McLean/Virginia Union adds the top SYC girls along with two other girls that are very good. Loudoun added two good players as well. If what the above poster is correct and combined with what I know: 1. Bethesda ECNL 2. Loudoun ECNL 3. Pipeline ECNL 4. Virginia Union ECNL (McLean) 5. Baltimore Armour GA 6. Arlington ECNL 7. VDA ECNL 8. Coppermine Premier 9. VYS 10. PPA Green 11. MD United ECNL 12. Metro United GA 13. SYA Red 14. Loudoun Red 15. FC Virginia GA |

Without a doubt. The poster posting recent 9v9 results as if they have any relevance to future 11v11 matchups is clearly misguided. |

| Just so everyone knows, after the U13 year, all of the ecnl clubs clean house of the players who shouldn't have really been on the team the past year but we're grandfathered in from the u12 year because they were on the top team with everyone else. It's hard to cut that player or demote them going into u13 but after the year is over, a significant amount of players get displaced |
