Reasons for medication-free childbirth

There is some Whacky Lady Who Hates Natural Birthers on this thread. I honestly think she is going back and forth with herself, here on the last couple pages.

I don't see any anti-natural birthers on this thread. I see people asking some adamant natural births to back off in their judgments of those who go in a different direction.

Geez. "

I'm not a naural birther but I disagree. There seems to be someone who had an epidural and is pissed off at natural birthers on this board. I just do not understand why some women who get an epidural end up with such a big chip on their shoulder.

I do not feed my kids a diet of only home made organic foods, we don't eat junk but we certainly have our share of Mac and Cheese. I'm fine with this decision but its not AS healthy as going all natural. I don't feel the need to constantly go after people who do eat organic to make myself feel better.

Really? You don't understand how someone who did not go the natural birth route would be offended by people chiming and devaluing their birth experience or telling them that what they did was harmful to themselves and their baby?

Really?

My reason for a medication free child birth? Because I knew I could!! I wasn't exausted, really the opposite. I felt great afterwords, no cuts, no pitocin. Just my baby and I. The nurses kept trying to "treat me"but I just took some advil.
