I seriously doubt that he cares what you think about him. Some of you think of EVERYTHING in terms of politics and getting ahead politically. This is a kid whose mother died, who was seemingly estranged from his father, and Matt got involved in his life. This is like my kids calling my best friends "aunt" and "uncle" when they are not blood relatives. It is no wonder he shielded his identity from the public for so long. You people are weird. |
| Someone I was friends with in college and kept in touch with for some years after college "mentored" some 12-13 year old kid who had a single mom, the friend commented that she was grateful to have a guy spending time with her kid. He lived many states away from me but I visited him when I went to a college reunion and heard more about boys in that age range he had befriended and given little jobs to. It was sounding really off and I finally asked if he had ever done anything with these kids that would be punishable in a court, and he said "not any more". I thought about contacting authorities (this was like 30 years ago) but had no details, names, etc and didn't. He did settle down with some woman, I think they had kids or he adopted her kids. But the very fact that Gaetz refers to an adoptee he didn't adopt, ugh. |
Gaetz is such a lying sack of poop. |
It’s also that Matt keeps calling him his son. Like, he’s intentionally putting that out there when it’s just not true. This whole thing is sus. |
No, pp is a lying sack of poop.

Yes, exactly. "Uncle" Matt is saying that his "nephew" is his "son." That's just weird. |
|
Dude is a weirdo. How is he raising this "son" when he's in DC and traveling constantly and has been unmarried this entire time?
Nothing about this is adding up. I feel like Gaetz publicized the "son" thing to get ahead of a story a journalist was about to publish. |
No, this is like your kids calling your sister’s ex-boyfriend “Dad.” That would be weird, right? The vast majority of us didn’t know Nestor existed or the nature of his relationship to Gaetz until Gaetz brought up Nestor during a public hearing, in his role as a Congressman, and declared that his opinion on an issue regarding race shouldn’t be dismissed by a Black Congressman who was talking about how people who aren’t raising children of color in America might not understand, because he (Gaetz) is the father of a brown son. We found out about Nestor because Gaetz used his brand of fatherhood as a political tool. |
