Depends on the players situation. As is anything in life. Is it usual for a national entity to drop its development for children mid season? Or to even have them believe there would be a “next” season then surprise them when they’re all locked in quarantine?

No there are not. My kids has played with two of the girls on past teams, to be specific ... that was what I meant. I have seen both teams play. In person, several times. The game would not be close and there may be 1 or 2 girls total from MU 05's that can make the McLean roster. It does not matter what the McLean team looked like pre-ECNL age and what girls back then came from where. Things change dramatically over a few years. You're just uniformed and in a little bubble world. But again, talk to your coach and have him set up a scrimmage with them and see what happens. Do it with Loudoun too. You'll lose that match as well, but it would be close. MU would posses better than Loudoun but MU has no impact players, so Loudoun's few impact players would make the difference. I have seen all these teams play along with VDA, BRYC, and FCV DA/GA, first hand. Bethesda too and Maryland United and Pipeline. Seen some practice, seen them all in games. Separate yourself as a parent and look objectively and really watch. FCV has the best players. McLean and Bethesda are best coached. Rest are a big jumble of about the same. Would love to see them all play in a local tournament so that all this speculation could be put to bed. But alas, cartel of clubs and coaches won't allow it to happen, so we get to argue on a forum.

untrue, she trained with our DD's at FCV, but never left Metro. she was hoping to move in the fall, and bobby allowed DA rules to be broken by having her train with the 05's.

LOL! Metro’s doing just fine. The pipeline seems to be starting to work and rosters are filling quickly. The coaches have done a really good job this spring with the zoom meetings, training plans, IDPs, which are very detailed and thorough. It’s definitely a club for people who want their kids to develop as soccer players.

At least one left during season. Couldn’t play in our games but she trained with us.

untrue, she trained with our DD's at FCV, but never left Metro. she was hoping to move in the fall, and bobby allowed DA rules to be broken by having her train with the 05's.

Well, apparently two left or our clubs were trying to get same player. DD plays for Arlington.

Nah. If they didn’t take Arlington girls when they took Arlington boys they sure won’t take MU. Or if they do, it’s because Mclean and BRYC wanted a club they could beat up on in the ECNL MA division, instead of one that would beat them.

Mclean and bryc would lose to MU in several age groups, so it isn't that either.

Let’s take the 05 girls. McLean would win by about 3 goals. I know two of the MU starters. The wouldn’t even make the McLean team. You’re truly clueless.

that's a funny comment. there re 6 or 7 MU starters who would immediately go in and take starting spots on the McLean 05 ECNL team. on the reverse side, there are maybe 1 or 2 that would come from McLean and start at MU. You're hilarious, I know 2 girls, ridiculous.

No there are not. My kids has played with two of the girls on past teams, to be specific ... that was what I meant. I have seen both teams play. In person, several times. The game would not be close and there may be 1 or 2 girls total from MU 05's that can make the McLean roster. It does not matter what the McLean team looked like pre-ECNL age and what girls back then came from where. Things change dramatically over a few years. You're just uniformed and in a little bubble world. But again, talk to your coach and have him set up a scrimmage with them and see what happens. Do it with Loudoun too. You'll lose that match as well, but it would be close. MU would posses better than Loudoun but MU has no impact players, so Loudoun's few impact players would make the difference. I have seen all these teams play along with VDA, BRYC, and FCV DA/GA, first hand. Bethesda too and Maryland United and Pipeline. Seen some practice, seen them all in games. Separate yourself as a parent and look objectively and really watch. FCV has the best players. McLean and Bethesda are best coached. Rest are a big jumble of about the same. Would love to see them all play in a local tournament so that all this speculation could be put to bed. But alas, cartel of clubs and coaches won't allow it to happen, so we get to argue on a forum.

It is you that have mindless disdain. Your verbiage speaks for itself. I never once put MU down I just said they would not beat McLean and would probably lose to Loudoun. How is that disdain unless you have disdain yourself for McLean and Loudoun? I don’t have disdain for any of these teams or girls. They are all good, hard working, etc. it’s just that some girls and teams are better at soccer than others. That’s life. I find I have much more disdain for parents (arrogant) like you than the kids that play. Especially ones that are cluelessly arrogant. Anyhow you’re right.
