I'm not caping for her she needs to find new girlfriends. I'm caping for all the Cool Girls who actually do like sports and beer. Some people think it's an act for male attention and that pisses me off.

Yet again, you missed the point. A LOT OF WOMEN LIKE SPORTS AND BEER. like, most of us. Women like OP act like that makes them unique and above the loser women they believe the rest of us to be. Jesus, this isn’t hard. You’re really this mad you think someone said you’re not actually cool LOL

Did you miss the women insulting me earlier in this thread and telling me none of my guy friends will ever marry me? Again implying I do things on my for male attention. When they don't know me at all- like the fact I'm happily married already.

So you say you only apply this stereotype narrowly...but that's actually not the case.

I’m sorry people don’t think your male friends would marry you if they could. That’s a tough shake.

Uh genius the insulting point is that I'm friends with them and the "Cool Girl" to get them to like me romantically which is not the case at all. I happen to like "masculine" things and I have since I was a kid. It's not fake or a put on. I'm not a trope or a riff I'm a grown woman who used to be a "tomboy."

And I'm finding out that this anti Cool girl thing is a cultural phenomenon with subreddits and FB pages where women slam women like me and question our motives.

How is that not just another form of misogyny?

Venting? Wanting to talk about something? Lots of reasons.

I haven't read the entire thread as I suspect it's not worth it as there's probably plenty of cattiness. But I know what the OP speaks of. There are some women who just naturally gravitate towards men over other women. I see it all the time. It's a personality thing.

A group of women and a group of men have different dynamics. It's silly to pretend otherwise. And here are some men who gravitate towards groups of women over men.

Yeah, why do that to a group of people you specifically identify as being untrustworthy and unfriendly to you? In that very "vent" post?

How does that make any sense, other than trolling?

Trolling is the only thing that makes sense; although, perhaps op came here to murder irony.

Up thread someone said that's what you have to do...just trying to fit in!

In the end we are both victims of the Patriarchy. I was bullied all my life for not being properly feminine. You are so insecure that you need to tear other women down with PA digs and gossip. Its honestly a big societal problem.

She’s obsessed and just an absolute bitch. So absurd. Not OP - and all my close friends are women.

DP. That's not passive.

They are needy, have unrealistic expectations of you, and have no yet perfected how to be independent. They also have not learned how to enjoy time alone with themselves. I know this is not ALL women, but it is a lot of women. It's maddening. Men are so much simpler. I envy the way their friendships work at times.

10 out of 10 studies have shown that women who say "OMG I hate all women, they're SO dramatic and blah. I'm *just one of the guys* LoL" are gross, insufferable and unreasonable. It's maddening. I've never in my life heard a true tomboy or someone who is one of the guys say this. Only girls that everyone, male and female like, cannot stand.

That’s very typical of “Regina George” and “Carie Bradshaw” types. “Don’t like my way, take a hike! Your needs and desires don’t matter!”
