That was my prediction, and I'm pleasantly surprised to be wrong. So I guess Price doesn't have to pay back the rest of the flight $ and keeps it as severance. Fingers crossed that they don't find someone worse to replace him. My prediction is that he moves Ben Carson over. It's not like he is doing much at HUD anyway.

PP just posted this same talking point on the other thread on Price, and within a minute someone there already schooled her. LOL at calling Tom Price, Slytherin from house HHS.

Leon Panetta was director of CIA. He and positions such as Sec Def are required to be on military flights.
Tom price, slytherin from house HHS, was NOT. And chartered planes for 90 minute trips. It's different and egregious which is obvious by the fact he resigned over this. You're defending actions even he won't or can't defend.

In this case, it appears to be doing so. Does resigning keep Price from getting prosecuted for misusing govt resources? Or is that a decision independent of Trump?

1mn$ wasted by this useless excuse for a HHS Secretary. He was big on cutting HHS expenditures when they didn't benefit him directly.

Under Price, the department cut the law’s enrollment period in half and massively slashed advertising and outreach for the upcoming enrollment period starting in November.

Secretary of Defense is required to fly military by an order put in place by GWB. The same rule says he must pay the equivalent commercial airfare, which he did.
