Here he is speaking against the use of private jets by government officials.

Seriously.

But did he bring his #Hermes wearing wife to witness an astronomical event at his meeting place? We have to know that to know if Price is a bigger grifter than Mnuchin. |
Not to mention the train station is a hell of a lot closer to HHS than the airport. |
What happens if he is found to have misused government funds to pay for this jet? Does he have to pay it back? Or is it a criminal charge because he misused a high $ amount of government funds? |
No, but it looks like he brought Kellyanne Conway on the plane...on a super-urgent trip to take a tour of a Pennsylvania health clinic. http://wjla.com/news/local/report-hhs-price-wh-counselor-conway-take-25000-charter-plane |
Long before this broke the guy just comes across as soulless immoral scum. |
Great find. Any papers pick this up? |
Yes I read it in the news, I think CNN and CNBC mentioned it. |
Tom Price voted in the house to allow hospitals to turn away Medicare and Medicaid patients if they couldn't afford the copays. But he thinks it's fine for taxpayers to pay 25k so he can go from dc to philly. If karma exists, I hope it works on tom price. |
Mile high club? Maybe there is a contest between the cabinet members over who can waste the most government money. |
Price may be this week's winner. It costs like 35$ in gas to get from DC to philly and back. Maybe 15$ for tolls. I can't believe he spent $25k to get a private jet. It's not like Philly was inaccessible this week due to a hurricane or an earthquake. Is he going to have to pay the $ back? |
He's dumb as a rock. He did these flights last week. He learned nothing from Mnuchin's behavior. |
The GOP voted him in because he was not HRC. Also, many independents and Democrats who voted for Obama voted him in as well. |
What I want to know is how Trump supporters can stand by this type of behavior. How is it that Price, but even more the grifting of Trump himself and Mnuchin, for example, is okay. They rail against the "elites" and call for draining the swamp and then when Trump and his cabinet clearly take advantage of their positions for personal gain in a way that epitomizes grift and greed, Trump supporters shrug.
What's with the cognitive dissonance? |
