I never toss the dog poop bag in another person's trashcan unless they have told me that it was o.k.
I would be fine for someone tossing a bagged and tied bag into my trashcan as long as the trash truck hadn't picked up yet. If the truck had come already and my trashcan had already been emptied I wouldn't want a bag of poop tossed inside for me to smell until the next trash pick up. Take that home with you and toss it into your own trashcan. |
| ^And I'm talking about trashcans that are at the curb. I don't want people walking up my driveway or onto my property to throw their stuff away. |
| So glad this was resurrected. Some asshole put their poop bag in my trash this week. When the garbage men pulled out my large bag of trash from my bin, they must have pulled out the poop bag too and it landed on the street. So, now there is a bag of dog shit sitting in the street in front of my house. My neighbors must be wondering about it, but we don't have a dog, so not ours. I am leaving it there in the hope the asshole sees it next time they walk by and has the decency to pick it up. I know it's unlikely but I can't bring myself to pick it up. |
| Its your dog and your shit take it to your house. BTW why don't you go ahead and walk your pooping dog in your yard, not mine. I'm going out to put some more mothballs near our yard. |
They pull the trash out of your bin with their hands??? Doesn't the truck have one of this automatic arms that does that? |
| No. Carry it home and put it in your trash. |
I agree. If my trash can is at the end of the driveway and hasn't been picked up yes, go ahead and put it in. |
Yes they do pull out the bags with their hands, no automatic arm so unless your trash is in a big garbage bag, it is not taken. It sucks |
That's gross for the trash service workers for sure. Yuck. |
| I wouldn't care as long as it's in the bag and tied so that there's no way it'd come out. |
|
Put the poop into their trash. It's ridiculous that the anti-dog people have forced us to walk around with plastic bags all over the place, and to leash our dogs so that they have to poop on the sidewalk. At some point everyone has to step up for the community.
So if I'm on a walk, and my dog does it's business, that poop is going into your trash bin. You're just going to have to get over it. |
|
If you happen to be carrying a big black garbage bag and you use it, it might be OK. Otherwise, no.

This has happened multiple times to me. The bag falls down in the trashcan and ADHERES to the bottom. It does not come loose until it is scraped loose. So when I am attempting to clean my trashcan without coming into contact with someone else's dog doo, lots of thoughts go through my head. Like the lowlife, scum-sucking, dirt-bag, POS, low IQ, selfish, lazy, entitled narcissist who did this deserves to have it smeared into their face. And those are just my clean thoughts.

The city doesn't clean the cans out, it's up to the owner. It's your dog. Pack it home. |
