Synagogue attack near Detroit

Terrorists apologists have lost their way.

Exactly. “He made me do it!” Classic excuse of an abuser.

Thanks, Trump!

That’s sad. Obviously he wasn’t a trained terrorist.

Yes, so very sad. That poor, poor man who drove a car full of explosives into a synagogue hoping to kill as many Jews as possible.

His kids died in Lebanon. I don’t blame him. His The media is using the generic term “family members”.

DP

If it’s true that his kids or loved ones were killed in Lebanon, that’s obviously very sad news. But it doesn’t excuse or justify what he apparently attempted to do here. It just doesn’t.

No, but one can understand the motivation behind it and it wouldn’t have happened if Trump hadn’t started a preposterous holy war.

Notice all the people who lost family in 9/11 did not start blowing up mosques. And again his kids didn’t die his terrorists brothers did.

No, many of them joined the American military and signed up to go kill people in the middle east, but I guess that's okay because it's *our* military.

DP. Wow. Now you’re equating joining the military to defend our country after it was attacked to terrorists DOING the attacking? The poster who said you’ve lost your way is spot on. You are so very confused and ignorant.

Terrorist apologizers are going to terrorist.

This is obscene.
And, you wonder why posters here are excusing the acts of a terrorist. When the MSM writes crap like this........

I’ll give good odds that this poster has an eagle tattoo and a thin blue line flag sticker.

DP. Can you refute anything the PP said? Nope. But do try and change the narrative, as usual.

He actually shot himself.

Nope. He ran over a security guard who took him out. A guy with a rifle and explosives in his truck doesn’t make explosives in a week due to revenge. This guy was on the FBI list since 2019, he never had good intentions. Again, why was he let into the country? Thanks lax immigration for that. What happened to his American wife?

A smart person would ask themselves what set it off and quickly come to the conclusion that it was President Epstein’s actions.

Interesting comment.
I don't recall any of the victim's families of 9/11 being set off and attacking Muslims because of Osama bin laden's actions.

Well, considering there are billions of Muslims and millions of them faced loss of life, homes, shelter and living due to Iran, Iraq, Libya, Gaza etc and they also aren't doing any violence, you can't hold everyone accountable for actions of few. Just like you shouldn't hold all Americans accountable for government's failed policies.

Or look at his Facebook connections and conclude that he is a radical Islamic terrorist.

This thread is a perfect example of what these nuts do. They can’t stand to discuss actual
Islamic terrorism - which has occurred in several recent incidents - so they try and change the subject entirely. Deflect, deflect, deflect. Really pathetic.

Everyone needs peace, nobody wants to leave their kids in a shattered world. This isn't an issue of race or religion but of human survival.

If our army stayed out of the Middle East, none of this would be happening.

Exactly. And the media is more than happy to carry water for these terrorists.

Oh, sweetie. Iran started this back in 1979 before you were born.

I don't see how anyone can justify PTSD as an excuse for violence. What's wrong is wrong. Being a Muslim doesn't mean I should support him.

Of course it horrifies me. Just like when our military DID slaughter 160 Iranian children. Just like when Israel slaughtered how many thousands of Palestinian children. It's all horrific. What it is not is surprising. And what I find appalling is the selective outrage as though some lives are worth more than others, and the ridiculous expectation that we can continue killing people and taking what we want and that no one is ever going to fight back.

I would say the selective outrage is from those who constantly ra
nt about the unintended strike on the Iranian school but are actually laughing off this terrorist’s attempt on an American synagogue (also full of children). One was a horrible mistake - the other was very much intended.

That many of you are outraged about one and not the other is extremely telling. But totally unsurprising.

I’m just glad he’s dead. Judging from the comments here, if this went to trial, we would have crazy people rallying behind him like the killer of the health care CEO.

And gasoline. Fireworks and gasoline. And it seems he sat there for two hours before getting to the point of doing it.

I know many don’t want to hear it, but it is likely this guy, having recently lost loved ones in a conflict that is very, very personal to people from that region, was suffering from a mental health crisis that day that brought him to that point.

Nothing justifies the action he ended up taking, of course. But in trying to understand his motivation, the foregoing seems to fit the details I’ve seen in the news about this incident.

This entire explanation is terrorist sympathizing.

Why haven't the Jewish survivors of Oct 7 done this to a mosque on their own? Families that lost their children - why? Can anyone tell me why their grief ("very personal to the people from the region") didn't cross that line? Why are they making movies instead? Talking about it instead? Why didn't they turn to violence?

Are you insane?

Are you literally trying to argue that there was no response by Jewish people to 10/7? Does Gaza ding a bell?

You’re trying to equate Israel retaliating for the horrific 10/7 Hamas attack… with lunatic terrorists attacking synagogues in the US? And then you have audacity to call the PP insane?? Take a look in the mirror.
