Good God, I'm about the same age as Kris Jenner and I could pull off a better look than this in a Nordstrom-type outfit for walking around Venice than this. That is just an ugly dress, too much material, print and fabric and too freaking hot for Italy right now! It's the definition of fashion victim.

Someone on tiktok showed the Schiaparelli dress on the model and LS side-by-side. On a tall woman, it looks fantastic. LS is quite short (5’3”) and for some reasons, the dress wasn’t made to her proportions. It’s a miss despite being a gorgeous dress.

I just hate that corset top on everyone. I don't know what the name for it is, but it's like a top with a gap. It's been done several times by several designers over the years, and when I see it modeled or worn on the red carpet, every single time, it looks awful and weirdly proportioned somehow. I don't even notice the length of the dress, the color or details. It's that gap on top - very ugly and flatters NO ONE.

You are correct. I am Asian and don't care at all. My personal opinion is that these two people have no taste, and for public occasions, choose to present themselves in a vulgar way, not even as a deliberate choice, but because they don't know any better, not having been raised in elegant households. But they might be kind people once you get to know them. So I'm not going to criticize *too much*.

Also the buttons make sense on the original Sofia Lauren wedding dress. Because the top is meant to look like a separate bodice. Putting them from top to bottom on the front and back of a full length dress is very strange.

I also disliked Lady Di's dress - too drippy and crumpled - and Kate Middleton's dress - too basic and copying of Grace Kelly's dress. So this isn't a Lauren Sanchez thing. I'm hoping the richest people on Earth can do better. Princess Beatrice actually did a pretty good job upcycling her Granny's gown and tiara.

The most elegant royal/major celebrity wedding dress in modern memory was actually Meghan Markle, like her or not.

I love Meghan and am not a hater by any means but hers was kinda boring. I liked it but it wasn't my favorite. I think Kate Middleton and Ivanka Trump's were better.

Although I will say Meghan was like 35ish when she got married, so I could see how she wouldn't want to do the ingenue look two girls in their late 20s did.
