Anyone notice that posters leave comments and never provide sources, links, or citations? Just broad, unverified statements with zero evidence.

Major news organizations are broadcasting video of President Trump saying that Ukraine has had 3 years to end a war that they started.

Russia was the aggressor. Ukraine owes them nothing.

And if Ukraine is excluded from negotiations, they are not bound or beholden to any so-called "agreement" made. If the "agreement" says that Russia is to withdraw, great. But this nonsense about things like making restitution to Russia is absolute garbage and if I were Zelenskyy I'd be saying "go collect from Trump." If anything, Russia needs to be paying Ukraine reparations. Russia's invasion was unprovoked, illegal and unwarranted.

Ukraine can fight Russia without American taxpayer dollars and American taxpayer funded military arms. Let’s see how long they last.

Ukraine absolutely needs to be part of the negotiations.

But Europe as whole? No, freeloading time is over. If you want to be partners instead of lackeys then you should have put your money where your mouth is.

I would have zero problems if they want to step up and be equal partners. As it stands though NATO and the EU have been suckling off the teat of the U.S. since 1945.

Still waiting to see how the supposed “soft power” the U.S. gets from being Europe’s guard dog helps the citizens that are subsidizing their defense so they can have their cushy welfare states and look down at us for being “military obsessed”

Look at that, as soon as Trump scares the crap out of them, European leaders are now discussing a potential agreement to spend $700B on their militaries. In the end, it might have actually worked. Europeans crap on the US for healthcare, education, childcare, etc. Let's see how many wonderful social programs they have left now that they have to spend significant sums on protecting themselves. They'll have to raise taxes so much it'll suffocate everyone, or they'll have to cut social spending if they want to exist.

We’re done being taken advantage of by our “allies”.

This was something predicted MANY administrations ago by secdef Gates. Now instead of the carrot, Europe gets the stick.

I want Ukraine to win - but really Europe only wins any war when we pick a side.

You make it seem like America has reluctantly gotten involved in conflicts. We’ve had a hand in pretty much all of them. We like calling ourselves “the leader of the free world” and with power comes responsibility. We also like meddling. Let’s not pretend that we’ve desperately wanted universal health care and free university but haven’t been able to afford it because we’ve been altruistically saving the world from wars we have nothing to do with.

I think it’s more useful to have Russia as an ally. Leave the former Soviet republics to them (except the Baltics that have flown the coop way back in the 1990s) and start the new alliances.

Trump better start planning where he will put those troop stationed over sea. The Korea, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, etc are doing the same as the Europeans.

We are done as a world power. Brought to our knees by a third world country with a GPD equal to 7% of the US.

Only a few months ago shills we're still claiming we were hurting Russia on the cheap. Life comes at you fast.

What the f are you blathering on about? You are a moron. Go back to the corner and put on your dunce cap. The adults are talking.

My apologies if my post was less than clear as I'm literally rolling around laughing at how quickly this is going south for NATO.

NATO has kept America safe for 75 years. WTF?

Interested to know if MAGA agrees with Trump that Zelensky "started the war" with Russia. Despite the hard evidence otherwise.

And where on the scale of "dictators" they would put Putin relative to Zelensky.
Anonymous
MAGA needs to stay out of diplomacy and international relations. They’re morons who are advancing Putin’s agenda, not ours. They’re making the world a worse place. It’s sad they have nothing positive to offer the U.S. and the world.
Anonymous
MAGA are sick. Does anyone remember that Russia invaded Ukraine? Remember the people fleeing for their lives? The children killed?

Under Trumps leadership we have threatened Canada and alienated them as our closest ally.
A country that provides huge benefits to us in trade and energy.

Instead he drops them, so we can align with Russia. A third world dictatorship that offers us nothing.

That’s the deal we are getting.

Yes, a lot the media won't bring up. They wouldn't qualify to be part of NATO.

MAGA cheers on Russia. Sadly, Russia is the world leader in anti-woke, anti-democracy, anti-liberal efforts.

The only problem is Defense is our big export/economy. And while this has needed to change it needed to happen gradually without pissing off all our allies and further dividing our country. America alone wasn’t supposed to be the goal.

Us sane folk completely remember. We know Ukraine is defending itself. We know Trump is making us look weak as a country and like Russia’s stooge. Russia and Israel have the same problem, their not liked by the people nearby and thus feel threaten by everything other countries do.

I can’t believe Americans are turning to Russia.

Russia is our enemy. They are not our friend. They want to see us destroyed.

Europe is our ally, I can’t believe everyone is going along with Trump’s ignorant worldview. He knows nothing and it shows daily.

Wake Up America! If we don’t stop this, we will find we are a footnote in history.

What Soviet republics. What part don’t you get that no one wants to rejoin Putin’s USSR dream.
