lot of mocking trump for being dumb and just saying whatever he feels like

He rambles like an arrogant sun setting rich boomer. Pretty much every boomer talks like this. He clearly hopes to just win and let Kushner run everything, again.

Yikes. Honestly, if Trump sounds “clear and on point” to you, maybe the issue lies not with us telling you about Trump’s dementia, but in your own faculties. Just sayin’.

These types of posts are hilarious. Any normal person that didn't know a thing about Trump or politics would not even think for a second from that podcast that Trump was having any issues, much less dementia. You keep trying to make this happen, and it just isn't, which is all the more hilarious given that Biden's problems have been very obvious for a long time, and yet we were told all is fine. You can't make this stuff up.

My parents are boomers and they do NOT sound like this. They are less sharp than they were even 10 years ago, but it's really insulting to old people to lump them in with that orange black hole.

Her stated reason was that they couldn't make the schedule work. Which given that Trump would up basically missing his Michigan rally due to the taping,so that he could ramble incoherently for three hours, no makes her look like she's just more important and organized than Trump.

It's not like she's not going popular podcasts, either. I think she should do Rogan if they can make the schedules work.

But yeah, that Houston rally seemed like a bigger deal than Trump's interview or his sad little Michigan rally.

Here's hoping.

I'm not happy about this, but some of you are delusional. There is NO WAY the Houston rally is a bigger deal than Rogan. And to even suggest that scheduling conflicts are preventing her from going on the biggest podcast in the world is laughable.

At this stage in the campaign it's about turning out the people you know are voting for you. Rogan's base is young, mostly white men. They aren't going for Harris anyway. Meanwhile a rally with Beyoncé where she talked extensively about abortion rights? Might motivate more young women to get to the polls.

She's not going to convince the core Rogan listener to vote for her right now. It would be cool if she did it (because I think she'd do well-- 1:1 somewhat adversarial interactions are good for her because they show off her prosecutorial skills) but I don't think it should be a priority.

She couldn’t handle Anderson Cooper, what makes you think she could handle Joe Rogan.

I wish Harris would sit down for an hour to get interrogated by Megyn Kelly and Trump could do the same with Rachel Maddow. That would show voters a lot about each person’s character and ability to perform under fire.

She went on Fox and several other informative interviews.

Why don't you challenge Trump to go on Maddow or MSNBC?

He does all friendly interviews and still rambles on like a dotard.

It wouldn’t be pretty. Trump hasn’t performed well in a single interview this election cycle. That goes for friendly softball interviews as well. He doesn’t know policy, can’t stay on topic, and can’t coherently string together thoughts.

Podcast has 10 million views in 12 hours on YouTube. Obviously a lot more on Spotify and iTunes.

I find it difficult to believe people would devote three hours of their lives to listen to an old demented man’s stream of consciousness. But all the better if they did because no young guy is going to vote for that rambling. It’s weak.

You can play it at 1.25 or 1.5x speed. Just like any podcast, it’s largely just background chatter while people work, drive in the car, go for a jog, and clean the house.

I'm familiar with podcasts, thanks. I don't want to listen to three hours, two hours, one hour, or ten seconds of Trump talking. How's that - clear enough? I find everything he says weird, repellent, stupid, ignorant, and harmful, and I would like him to never have a reason to speak in public ever again. I don't need to listen to another podcast to feel confident in that evaluation.

You sound weird. Please get help.

Get help for what? For hating Trump? Do you think I'm the only woman out there who hates that man with every fiber of our being?

I'm not, little MAGA bot.

+1. I think she has more to lose than gain at this point by going on Rogan. I also don't think Trump going on Rogan and whining for a couple of hours is going to do much to turn out the vote.

On the other hand - this is about turnout and peeling off marginal voters. If Harris can reach a few more of these dude bros and convince them not to vote for Trump or to vote for her, these little marginal wins can make a difference in the swing states.

I'm not sure why she didn't go on Rogan. She's gone on a bunch of other podcasts, so she's def open to reaching voters where they are like that. Maybe she will go on, still?

Kelly and Trump are enemies.

He said mean things to her.
